Laura Resen

I always look for the work of photographer Laura Resen when flipping through shelter magazines. Her photographs make me want to crawl inside the pages and stay a while. Featured here are photos she took of her NYC apartment and more recently her home in the country. Her office above is one of my all time favorite spaces.

Resen photographed her living room for two magazines. It's fun to see the way it was styled differently for each one. Subtle changes make such a difference. And of course, the pouf makes a big statement. Available at Shed $240.

More Matthew Heller

The day after I sent out my blog last week, which featured the work of artist Matthew Heller, my copy of Elle Decor arrived in the mail. I recognized Heller's LOVE LOVE LOVE painting hanging in Courtney Cox's Malibu home. With clients like Molly Sims and Courtney Cox on his roster Heller's got to be pretty pumped.
