Custom bench

Had to share......I delivered this custom bench to a wonderful customer last week (thank you E). It was intended for another room, but looked so perfect here it may stay permanently. Benches are available in any size, fur type and leg design. LOVE it.

Scented oils

I was so happy the day I discovered these fragrant oils. The scent comes through the porcelain flower. No more sticks to deal with! And a new shipment of sea-inspired scents just arrived. Great hostess gift if you're invited to the beach for the weekend (or if you are home and just want to pretend you are at the beach). $48

Paul Massey

I love the idea of living in a white space, but since it probably won't happen anytime soon I enjoy photographer Paul Massey's London flat instead. I saw it in LivingEtc a couple years ago and revisit whenever I feel the need to look at something peaceful. He recently bought a new home and kept the look similar but added a little gray. I'm thinking interior design if he makes a career change.

I googled J Crew's Jenna Lyons the other day (I know, get a life Cindy) and realized that so many images of her are taken in her office. It's no wonder, with a space like this why scout another location? 6' 5" in heels also helps.

Flower hour

The rumors are true! Spring is here. And doesn't it feel grand? In honor of our long lost friend, some floral inspiration. Enjoy the weather, but I'm not putting my sweaters away just yet :)

Rest it

I'm not open on Mondays so was surprised when I got a call saying I had a delivery. Came down and to my delight it was these two fabulous tables. The top is glass 16"H x 23" W $440 and the beauty on the bottom is 14"H x 30"W $890. If you are in need of a great coffee or side table come see. LOVE.

How fun would it be to spend an afternoon with Hamish Bowles? Very! The Editor-at-Large for Vogue and author of numerous style books, is the man in the know when it comes to fashion and interior design. It is no wonder then that his homes in NY and Paris are so chic and fabulous. Inspiration at its finest. 

Watercolor illustrations of two of Bowles' gorgeous rooms arrived at Shed today (below). Getting them framed this week. Pretty in a powder room or bedroom. Love.
