I was blown away by Brooke Shields NYC apartment featured in the March issue of Architectural Digest. A few great ideas I've stored in the would-love-to-do-someday file.....

Great idea number 1: gray walls in the living room, so bold, yet so right.

Great idea number 3: Modern fireplace with classic Normal Rockwell on mantle. Genius!

Great idea number 4: Red leather in the dining room. Wow. Love.

Great idea number 5: Frame favorite baby outfit from early years in simple shadow box!

Great idea number 6: (top right) start framing art, scarves, anything sentimental and wonderful. The one featured here with yellow background is happy birthday gift wrap from artist Keith Haring.

Great idea number 7: Throw a touch of lime in any room, anywhere, anytime. Beautiful.
