Mansion in May

A few days before closing, my friend and I went out to Peapack-Gladstone NJ to see the Blairsden estate featured as this year's Mansion in May. Built between 1897 and 1903, the 62,000 square foot home is the seventh largest estate in the US. The original owner was C. Ledyard Blair, a NY financier and king pin in the railroad industry. He and his wife's four daughters married here. Must have been magical. The current owner preferred to remain anonymous. Here are a few iPhone pics from the tour.

The living room has two Baccarat chandeliers.

Isn't the table above fabulous. Loved it.

The space above was one of my favorite little corners. So simple and perfect.

 Loved this sculpture.

Little white table above is at Shed :)
 Love this simple bar tray.

Star burst accessory above at Shed :)
Treats were plastic. Of course I had to ask. Couldn't believe no one had eaten them.
